Jesus talked a lot about the anawim. In fact, some of his most important teachings—like the Beatitudes, the Sheep and the Goats and even his teaching on the cross and the resurrection—all reflected his idea of who the anawim were and God’s love for them. In this section, we dedicate all 21 of these teachings to just what Jesus had to say about the anawim. Whether you are of the anawim or not, Jesus will in turn both challenge and comfort you.
